"Fatigue" would lead to brain cell death?

In 2006, the figure of " deceased fatigue" in Japan died of heart and brain diseases reached 147. Japanese researchers confirmed in the mouse experiment that extreme fatigue will lead to pituitary cells at the center of the brain gradually died.

Japan's "Asahi Shimbun" reported that the research team, which is led by Japan's Osaka City University professor,Shan Bo-led,put mice into a box where one centimeter water is on the bottom keeping it in five days to observe their activities.

The mice hate the wetting, which make them fail to have not good rest, only a few minutes sleep standing. This state and the people working through the night are almost the same.

When observing the pituitary of the mice the researcher found that the pituitary gland cells change after three days, while the cells began dying after five days and the middle of the pituitary gland was spongoid. With the increased level of fatigue, the production capacity of dopamine, a substance conducting the nerve, decline, increasing the pituitary gland cell death.

Experts said that the discovery provide the valuable information about  the relationship between fatigue and endocrine disordethis. According to statistics, in 2006,the number of people in Japan died form fatigue were 147. Fatigue has be the Japanese society focus problems. Research team hopes that this study will help to detect fatigue.
